Apologies for the vagueness, but what is the general consensus on sizing for Valstar shearling? TTS? Would a 54 be appropriate for somebody who wears a a 42 in the KS traveler?
Yes that would be the right size

today is likely the coldest day of the year in Louisiana (it is not Very Cold by temperate zone standards, but low of 20s is coldish) and I am staying warm by dreaming about the likelihood of getting a new Okochi Meriyasu sweater every year...

Was wearing my basketweave mock neck yesterday and it’s pretty close to perfection. Warm and comfortable and so pretty…

Same exact sweater, and it's just perfect. Cozy and soft and only getting better. I'd love if it were a couple inches shorter because I'm built like a hobbit -- but otherwise. Excited to see what OM comes up with next year.

Any chance of a summer knit collection from them? I'd knife somebody for an OM linen crewneck or tunic.

A homeboy. I'm loving this weather. I'm riding with my windows cracked.

I moved here from the upper Midwest a few years ago and was horrified to discover that we build homes out of paper and false hopes down here. This year's non-winter aside, I bet I wear more layers down here than I did up there!

Homes out of paper? I never came across that.

Homes out of false hopes? Definitely. The whole state is a flood zone.

@gdl203 We might need a trunk show down here in Louisiana 🤔

I would get in an actual trunk for a Louisiana trunk show. (The walls down here are THIN, my friend. No heat retention. My heater been begging me for its own OM sweater all day.)

You know it’s a clothes forum because everyone is jazzed about Greg’s sweater but no mention of the 928 next to it.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
