Anyone know why my NMWA DBF grandad coat bunches like this when buttoned? There seems to be some tension in the fabric but idk what’s causing it @Easily Amused

What do you mean by this?
If you put the coat on a flat surface and button all the buttons, do you see the wrinkling problem? Or is this problem evident only when you wear the coat? If the former, perhaps one button is misaligned. If the latter, the problem might be the overall dimensions of the front of the coat as compared to your actual size.

I think it looks pretty good except for the sleeves being a tad long. I have the same jacket and I wore it a ton to break in the fabric, I think it looks better when its a little more worn in. Its not as stiff looking. A popped collar works really well on this jacket too.
