    Double vents

Not familiar with Merrill sneaks, but am a loyal New Balance fan myself. There's a New Balance outlet store in Lodi, NJ if anyone might be interested. Everyone wears sweats there, and so I never have to "sneak" around the store Grayson

Nice language, and from a man of the cloth You see, I'm not selling pricey (Some might say over-priced) suits, shirts, ties, shoes, socks, books...or underwear on the Internet. So, I can write completely objectively about my experiences and my purchases. I have no agenda other than sharing some...

Did the Greek tailors at least speak with an English accent? Â That might make me feel a bit better. Grayson

guitone, you are a GQ model in comparison to me, often wearing sweats and sneaks on the weekends. Â I need the sartorial downtime then. Grayson

In the never-ending fashion cycle, what's old will eventually be new again, so it's better to wear what styles you're most comfortable with, literally and figuratively, and chances are you'll always look great, and everyone will notice it. Grayson

I have been in touch with the Carlo Barbera company and am the purveyor of good news for anyone desirous of blended linen that, yes, they offer such a cloth. Â So enjoy. Â As for me, I'll be wearing my 100% lambswool (Sorry, no blended linen for me) Carlo Barbera-cloth garments, and Mimmo...

There's a return to the 2-button jacket with the popularity of the 3-button version wearing off, so you'll be "fashion forward" without possibly even realizing it Grayson

Who asked for info on blended linen from Barbera? As a pretty good customer, I've been able to arrange for a visit to the Carlo Barbera company this Summer and can bring back a swatch. Grayson

    Double vents

Vast majority of my suits and sport coats are made with 2-buttons and side vents, by preference.  I think side vents are the most elegant.  SVs require greater care to make certain the center flap doesn't wrinkle and crumple lest it stick out quite inelegantly.  Also, resist the (logical)...

Brooks suits options - need advice

Though the issue of forward or reverse pleats comes down to stylistic preferences for most, there actually is a practical reason for going with reverse pleats: They stay nice and flat, with their sharp creases intact, for a far longer time than forward pleats. Reason is with forward pleats, each...

I did not claim any inability to supply a linen blend--I wrote that I drew a blank, which means I could not come up with a supplier, not that one does not exist. Â I wasn't aware I was being tested. Â Next time, I'll study harder before posting Sounds like a recommendation to me, although it's...

I'm drawing a blank on any kind of respected linen blend for suits, etc. I'm not even sure what would be blended with linen, except, possibly cotton, but I would only recommend pure linen. Linen/cotton for shirts, perhaps. Grayson

    Blazer

One of my first "real" quality garments as a kid was a classic BB DB blue blazer, so I have a sentimental attachment to this.  Not sure where it's manufactured, although BB has been making a conscious effort to upgrade the quality of their merchandise.  The Loro Piana cloth is good...
