Right, I think Alden Madison does "crowdsourcing" of makeups, if I'm not mistaken. I know wedge soles are polarizing, but SOP has a loden suede captoe on TB I've always really dug. Flexing on us two ways: gorgeous boot pics and in the gym! 💪- SonnyTheElder

I have a pair of boots on the commando sole and the front stitching has worn down to where the rubber sole is just barely starting to separate, which may be a consideration if you tend to wear the toes of your shoes down quickly. Nice choice! I had a pair of Danner Mountain Lights resoled with the same Vibram Sierra outsole and I should have done it sooner. Huge difference in utility over the original wedge sole with which they were equipped.- SonnyTheElder

The same thing has happened to my Wick boots from Snake Oil Provisions, which I purchased earlier this year and haven't worn very heavily. I'll probably keep wearing them unless the problem severely worsens, but no issues thus far.- SonnyTheElder
