pea protein is def better than soy, but again there's an inherent irony of wanting to basically eat meat without eating meat *shrug*. Without this going down the shithole, I will just leave it at that if anyone wants to eat vegan, great, go for it. if you do it for moral reasons, then do it for...

vegan or not, those "beyond" fake meats are so overly processed, it's a slow-drip of poisoning your body. Soy protein isolate (SPI) which is used in so many non-animal proteins, is one of the worst things you can eat. it's ironic to see protesters campaign for anti-GMO but will gladly eat...

yes, sleeveless cardigan would be the most accurate descriptor. well let's be real, most of "the look" is basically old man gear, by most people's standards ;) as with most things, it's about how it's put together and the vibe the wearer gives off :thumbs-up: :revolve:

*I* dont. i call it a sweater vest. you Brits all seem to call it them "tanktops" whenever someone is talking about sweater vests, and since there are more brits than yanks in these convos I've appropriated the term as such

Offical TRICKERS shoes and boots thread

I was in London back in October. But I accidentally found these from a UK online shop I'd never heard of, doing a completely unrelated shoe search lol. I held out on the black or brown Henry boots, hoping one day a burgundy one with commando would exist, and voila.

Latest purchase last month. Henry dealer boot with commando sole in burgundy museum. Couldn’t believe it when I found these in this color, something I had hoped would exist one day and there they were. On sale too.

It’s the concept behind a “spit shine”. You put polish on shoe. Let dry. Then when you go to buff it out you add some water to your rag and using a circular motion you massage the water into the dried polish. Then you buff it with a dry cloth or shoe brush. Repeat and repeat. The moisture in the...

thanks. I use Saphir pate de luxe burgundy and black. I’ll polish with one color a few times then switch to the other and back. I’ll also throw in some Saphir burgundy Creme which seems to add a deepness to the leather color moreso than the wax polish. Finally I’ll finish up with a few coats of...

for sure. my Trickers with commando soles are probably the toughest shoes/boots i own. Would hate to be kicked in the face by them. I already know I'll love the Henry's, will just depend if they have my size but i can go up half size no problem and use an insole/thick socks and they're a-ok

I’m digging these “Henry” dealer boots in burgundy museum calf. Gonna be in London in a couple weeks so looking forward to checking them out on Jermyn St. I have Bourtons in the same color and the commando sole means I’m sold.
