What I learned from this:
The brits seem like they're exaggerating a certain look to make fun of it and to indulge in a bit of excess -- Carnival, as ABALO said, I think.

A+ for effort, I suppose. There's evidence of a disturbing penetration of anti-white memes in this thread. It looks like a nice, pleasant Euro-American setting. No shootings in this part of DC.

Personaly I find it refreshing to see so many younger men in bowties, I heard they were making a comeback and seeing that now I believe it. some of them do not know how to wear one correctly but their enthusiasm more than makes up for it, I was just like them and still am every now and again and so are my sons, at least my oldest is for now, there is still hope for Nathan too.

This is a funny thread. These people look like frat/sorority types. Not my style. I take issue with anyone who says there is anything European about these people. This is the kind of "white" that only exists in America.

Overall, the group was okay. I think they accomplished the intended purpose of the event. I'm sure a majority of people there do not normally dress like that. Some looked like they were trying but failing. There were some decent outfits.

In general Americans are horrible dressers. As long as no one was taking themselves too seriously their slight fashion faux pas are tolerable. The Southern Waspy thing is not my scene.
