Summer baseball cap

I like the ones from Berg & Berg: https://bergbergstore.com/products/dad-cap-navy-1, though no personal experience. If you don't have logo which represents you, imo better a very niche and low-profile one rather than the way overused RL pony. No one will recognize this, except the very few people who buy B&B, at which point it may even be a conversation starter.

and graduate school. Also, from local cultural organizations.

On caps they are not called brims. Visors would be one of the words
to describe them. I do not "kink" them. I do not wear them regularly.
Just when I will be out in the sun for an extended time.

It’s the “bill” or “brim”. Baseball caps don’t have visors.

I am over 40 so I wear my bill with a curve. It also fits my head much better when curved vs. flat.

we used to put the brim in a coffee cup overnight to get the proper curve. I don’t wear them that extreme anymore, but I hate a flat brim still

A stiff brim, actually looks like intention more than, a natural bend.
