I'd rather not publicly name the maker without them having a chance to respond. Although the whole order has been a mess, the customer service has been very responsive so far, and I am in the process of returning them...
That's fair. I hope they resolve it quickly. Are you opting for a remake?

Nice, looks like a comfy all rounder! What kind of soles are those? I can't quite tell from the pictures.

Kleman Padror in Cafe veg tan grain. This is my second pair of Klemans, I have come to like Klemans quite a bit. Sure, they're cemented construction blah blah. I don't see them necessarily as a "cheaper Paraboot," but kind of their own riff on the style. They're extremely durable, fit my foot great, and very affordable if you're patient. The leather on the veg tan leather version is a definitely a step up from the suede pair I have.

EBay find - the listing was for C&J derby of unspecified model; I did some digging and I'm pretty sure these are the discontinued "Durham" model. 325 last turns out to be an excellent fit for me TTS (standard US minus 1 full size), maybe a tad longer than a Tricker's W2298 last, but also less "squat." Not better, just different. These scratch many itches: C&J (which I have not owned before), scotch grain, nice fit, and the style of split toe I really prefer with a slightly more vertical, less raked back, split toe seam. Very pleased with this pair.

Does anyone have photos of the carlos santos 9131 from noble shoe in the wild? Any opinions on sizing? I'm about a 7D in florsheim 93602s and a 7.5D I'm Redwing 1907s, if that helps.

Take your usual US sizing in dress shoes and remove 1.5 and you have the number in UK for this shoe. It runs larger.
