Dundee derby in Winter Smoke Castorino Suede from the outlet! They wear like sneakers on gumlite soles. View attachment 2156595
I bought the same shoes during the Tricker’s Christmas sale. I’m delighted with them and have great respect for the brand. Since my instep is slightly low, I installed a Pedag leather tougue pad to help keep the lacing flaps from coming too close together (like yours).

I just purchased the chelsea in winter smoke, mine are darker. Does the suede lighten with use?

I got some olive oil spilled on a snuff suede shoe. Tried some Saphir suede shampoo which didn’t do anything. Ended up going to town on it with Dawn dish soap and a toothbrush which removed the stain. Suede looked fine after it dried and a quick brushing.

I have not noticed any lightening so far. I also bought the Stephen suede Chelsea boots in the same color. I expect them to wear well for years.

Good to know! I got a big drop of sole oil on the side of a brown boot upper a few weeks ago. The spot was a very dark and ugly initially. It was essentially gone today and not at all noticeable after polishing with medium shoe cream.

Yep, good to know. Suede is difficult. Maybe not a good idea to wear it in the kitchen.

I haven't double checked my stats, but it seems that's the 42nd pair of Trickers you've posted. As usual first class. Not sure what size you are, but if they're 9 or 9.5, and you wish to sell some, I can offer 50 euros/pair !
I think 42 is a massive underestimate!
