I saw a post on Instagram which said that the yacht Newey is having built is due to be delivered this year, so maybe he’s leaving Red Bull and sailing off into the sunset.

I guarantee you guys that whatever tacky, pretentious, unself-aware thing you can imagine about Miami, it’s true and you’ve probably even underestimated it.

My wife called our SA to complain that after he coerced us to renew our ‘24 tickets right after the ‘23 race, they can now be repurchased at 40% what we paid, and got this response - “oh that’s interesting, I wasn’t under the impression that my clients cared about this little money”.

I did tell her she had this coming - we’ve been in Miami long enough to know better than to imply we cared about anything as trivial and commoditized as money…
