That's a really bizarre size and you'd probably have trouble selling those. +1 on what Alan said.If you really want to try, grab one or two of the nicest items.

Not a great thrifting week for me... Even the stores have seemed kind of empty, it's like a drought or something. Just a few ties and some braces.

A cool fox hunt emblematic from Polo. Very heavy. Not sure how popular it'll be here, but spending too much time in the UK has turned it endearing to me.

Another Polo embmatic, not as heavy as the foxes though. This one is a knock off of the UK RAF crest - similar but not exact. As before, not sure if anyone here will like it, but the Brits have infected my brain.

Cole Haan and Polo braces. Also found a pair of plain red Thurston braces (not pictured).

Found this today, posted here cause I don't think there's a thread like it on the SW&D side.

Dang! If that were an XL I'd be interested. I rarely ever find SW&D labels at a thrift. I love BoO shirts but I'm a bit rotund for their sizing so I'd take an XL (I think that's the largest size they make).

56R... yeah, that's tough. There ARE guys who would pick that kind of thing up - I'll PM you the names of one or two.

Did you measure the pit to pit on any of them? 56R would be what, 30 inches?! Just checking that can help - I've seen a 42 that fit like a 46 and vice versa. I'd be in the market if any of them somehow had a slightly smaller p2p like 26-27-28 inches, but 30 is just way too high.

A couple nice things today, mostly vintage.

First, a Hickey-Freeman 3/2 sack tweed that probably goes back to the 60s.
Second, another 3/2 sack tweed by Richman that is late 50s to early 60s.
Third, a pair of Hanover shell cordovan, punched cap toes.
Last, a Botany 500 overcoat by Daroff. No fabric label, but from the hand I'd say it is at least a cashmere blend. Its a beautiful black and brown weave and in mint condition. Being a Daroff, I think it must go back to at least the 50s.
