These and the tan cords were accidentally hemmed too short.

As for the shave I do once every 2-3 days, I have really sensitive skin.

I think the short hem works better for this outfit. Digging the fit, scott!

Has anyone else noticed that "quirky americana" has been quietly making a comeback on waywt in terms of reception? And yes, I'm pretty sure it left at one point.

I'm sincerely looking forward to it

Haha.

I just received an email from Fok stating basically he has received a staggering amount of complaints against me and I need to tone it down. I told him thank you for messaging me and not just banning me and I would turn it down a notch immediately. I was secretly proud of garnering so many complaints but I must preserve my account. Fok seems very cool though, for real.

Reason being for not self banning, I still want to post my {boring americana} fit pics and I also want to do a fit battle if ever provided the opportunity. My clothes might be a little tame, but who knows. I've got a lot of **** that fits. I also want to post in the w+h thread, and the future seasons. The brand is nothing spectacular but for some reason, nothing fits me better. It's my small frame, I guess.

I've done a lot posting today and it's time to turn in. Sorry for being a bull in a china shop all day and going board-hard and trolling etc. Moving forward I will be normal. Second chances appreciated /sincerity

Not for me, "quirky americana" has been and will remain bound and decomposing in a selvedge chambray bodybag next to "americana" under my back porch.

Jet seal of approval. I am slightly disappointed that my fit didn't spark more discussion but then again the pics were awful and I guess you guys would rather play with the ****** troll. le sigh Whoever asked the tneck is actually Uniqlo from this season, bought two in a grayish green and greenish brown, they are awesome. Also, the blazer is green and black. Magician, up until recently I never would've thought to have paired this kind of fit with hightops...but I was inspired recently by some KVA stuff and the Rafstro's make the pants stack in a unique way that I really liked and wouldn't work quite as well with other hightops. I understand rejection of Rafstro's in general though, I admit I sort of drink the Raf koolaid from time to time.

That would have been me. Are these heattech turtlenecks or some kind of regular cheapy wool? I have some of the heat things which I dip into on occasion, but they are uncomfortably hot (synthetic). I could use some no frills tneck guys.

Lovely. Is this your usual style? I'm trying to mentally mesh it with what you were asking in should I shouldn't I buy. Also, please tell me that facade behind you is your wardrobe.

They're not heattech, they're 70% acrylic 30% wool. Sounds bad I know, but they feel and fit great and are super comfy and I trust uniqlo stuff to stand up to repeated washings. They are ribbed BTW not sure if you can tell from the pics.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
