Hoping someone can give me input if these items by this seller are authentic? There is an Ebay seller who is selling extremely high end products and seems to be affiliated with an official Zilli store, Philosophy in Tel Aviv. It is very easy to find this seller's page by searching "Zilli Crocodile" or "Zilli sunglasses". I contacted said Philosophy store and they confirmed they sell to this individual, but also said they don't know who else he buys from, and would not give more details like if he works there.
He is selling these goods at realistic prices. He has multiple pairs of crocodile shoes for sale that cost several thousands of dollars. If his items are authentic then he currently has nearly all of the highest end pants and most of the best crocodile on Ebay.
Another reason for my concerns: I purchased a $3200 pair of shoes from this gentleman on paypal. When I got them I found the metal buckles on the shoes to be slightly discoloured, which is supposedly the style, but also found a buckle on one shoe was already loose and not secure. I sent them back as they were faulty and am requesting a refund, and he says exchange only...
I'm friends with a very big name Ebay seller and she is convinced this man is selling counterfeited items. I am not so convinced. But considering that I've spent thousands it would be nice to know for sure.
I would be very very appreciative of any more informed opinions than my own on this subject.
