I wouldn't call this my ultimate but for about the next 5 months I'll dress something like this. Northface technical shirts, cargo shorts, Merrel light hikers, Smartwool socks. Yeah yeah yeah, I know what's with the socks. The lake has a 2 mile trail around it and I just finished wandering around the lake. If you like your feet you wear socks when hiking. When it's more a do nothing day it's no socks and sandals. When I hike bluffs and cliff lines it's real hiking boots and socks.
