I just wasted the better part of my day reading Esquire. All the models in there look like 15-18 years olds. Those that can afford these clothes tend to be well over 25 so I don't understand the marketing strategy of big fashion companies, Hugo, Prada, Versace, Armani, etc.

Fashion is based on image and at the moment ,the ephebe look is in vogue...

We do see signs of real men popping up there and there but the casting dorectors are still promoting the Greek ephebe look...

Hugo Boss and others do like the teen look ,just emerging from puberty...
They can be straight ,gay ,a son ,a brother, anything the person wants...

Why? Fashion is run and managed by many gays casting directors ,photographers, stylists ,designers ,make-up artists and so on...
Fashion is still quite a gay affair and they do have a certain diktat on what is emerging in terms of image and symbolisms attached to the fashion world...

Gay people are promoting a Gay aesthetic therefore we do have a lot of 16/18 years old with pale skin ,long dreamy hairs, ephebe bodies just finishing their puberty...
Fashionistas love that and us ,we do not give a monkey because we do not buy the labels they're promoting ......

Your generalisations. They are sweeping.

(Also women's magazines use young, and often even younger, models. It's all about using youth as a marketing tool, not some vast homosexualist conspiracy)
