Who Watches Animal Planet?

After not watching TV for a long time, my kids are branching out from cartoons & have sttled on Gator Boyz, Call of the Wildman, & Tanked. For me, Tanked seems the most entertaining. Gator Boyz was good for an episode until you realize they basically do the same thing on each 'call'. The crazy hillbilly guy (Turtleman) on the Wildman is just annoying, and none of the critters really matches up to even a 5 foot alligator in terms of making things interesting...

yes, discovery & AP seem fairly interchangeable. we are also big into bear grylz (but on video). i hate having to explain the capt morgan/ketel1/avion commercials on fox soccer! we are 5 years behind you , ed

I watched Ultimate Hippos a couple of nights ago. Hippos are insane. I think a Hippo can beat a Bear in a fight.

Wow, more than bears? They had a segment where a guy was trampled because he got between a Hippo and the water. Apparently Hippos can get up to about 20 MPH in a short burst and sometimes run with their mouths open. They said it was like the guy got hit by an SUV with spikes sticking out of it.
