it is a suit! made by none other than edmorel. its a 70/30 wool/mohair H&S. he has the pants right now because i asked for an adjustment. in the meantime we agreed that is works as an odd jacket. mighty impressive that you could tell its supposed to be a suit.

buttons are brown, you can see them in the full pic, below. that being said, you still think its a no go as an odd jacket?

also, i will assume since you did not comment otherwise, you are ok with the combo.

Do the swelled edges mitigate that? What about the patch pockets?

DocHolliday, though I agree that white linen would be good here, I'm now confused as to your stance on white linen squares with light blue shirts.

I like the textures a lot.

i think they are lighter IRL than in the pic, but still probably not as light as you would like. thanks for the feedback, broseph.

The only thing I won't do (any more) is show suspenders. I wear them but either under a vest or I don't take my jacket off.
