the bill bixby-lou ferrigno hulk series. so bruce banner's hitching his way around backwater, usa to find a cure for his gamma-ray exposure, and week after week he goes in and leaves a trail of destruction wherever he goes when he turns green. and then a reporter's been following him all this time suspecting he's the hulk and he's still unsure. and neither the army nor the feds seemed to find the link between this clean cut hiker and the green giant. and how the hell can hitching your way around rural america be the solution to finding a cure?

Great points. In a similar vein, should we be concerned that a fairly large group of Military Police is unable to track down and apprehend a group of soldiers of fortune who limit themselves to traveling within the Los Angeles underground?

This just reminds me of how bad the concept of most spin-off shows are. "Hey I got a great idea. Let's have an episode where [insert name of principal character]'s long lost best friend comes to visit. Then stay tuned because it's a brand new show featuring the zany adventures of [insert name of principal character]'s long lost best friend. I'm pretty sure this is how the Who's the Boss spin-off was created as well as the Growing Pains spin-off. At least with Family Matters they rewarded the casual viewer of the later seasons of Perfect Strangers with several appearances from the sassy elevator operator before she got her own show. But once she did, how many times the Balki or Cousin Larry make an appearance? Zero.

Not to mention that Walnut Grove has the highest murder rate outside of NYC.

Or just, like, you know, pose as a client or something? It never occurred to the military police to just set up a sting? Seemed like it would have been a pretty easy thing to do. The A-Team were only really picky about their clients in the pilot episode. From then on out, it seemed as if anyone who had the money could find them.

Is there any limit to your knowledge of American culture?
