It has taken three times as long on my boots as originally promised in the initial order. They send me a tracking number that said they shipped 21 days ago. The tracking number said I was not located at the address shipped to then changed to "redirected to new address." It's been "redirected" for a good 10 days now. I'm upset and can't get anyone to answer the phone or email to confirm to me what address they were shipped to. The level of frustration I am having over this has peaked and I cannot believe there is no one at the place to answer the phone. :fu:

EDIT: I honestly want my money back, but my concern is when I finally get someone on the phone they won't be willing to because the order has shipped. I'm willing to give them a chance before I do a charge-back, but need to speak with a human voice soon.

Just tried to call again, 3:15pm Vancouver time on a Wednesday, no answer. Are there any other numbers other than 604-253-6671?

Contemplating selling my 11EE (fits me perfectly at a US 12D) W+H black nubuck Dayton service boots. I bought these last year from Gravity Pope and they've literally sat in my closet the whole time due to having too many other shoes/boots. I've worn them out half a dozen times and they still look brand new (even have the box they came in somewhere). As far as I know, these are sold out everywhere, though somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.

After reading the past 500 posts over the past couple weeks on this whole Dayton over-promising/under-delivering/QC debacle, I know somebody's gonna want these, but it's not gonna be for the 125 year anniversary price.

PM me for pics and pricing.

Good luck to those still waiting for their boots.

I wore my boots for about 3 weeks and one of the heels is almost off already. The other heel is just beginning to loosen. Just got back to the states and am debating going to a cobbler to see what he can do about them or playing around with Dayton not answering...Think I'll be going to the cobbler today. It is an easy and relatively inexpensive fix?

Was the heel of the boot reinforced with nails? Or just glue??

You think that's why they closed down for three weeks?

Hey all my topy on a few shoes including my Dayton Boots is peeling.

Can I use Shoe Goo to glue it back on?

EDIT: found out about something called Barge Cement. would that do the trick? is it safe to use?

Has anyone called this morning to see if they are back?

I called the 800 number this morning, no answer. My boots got there a week ago and Stephen hasn't responded to my emails. How hard would it be for them to send out a generic auto-reply email saying when they'll get their **** together?!
