By quality, I mean the standard of materiel used, the longevity and the craftmanship

I do not own much designer except for shirts, but for me, it is my loro piana. The cotton feels better than silk and I am not exaggerating. Also the way it fits, the comfort and how I feel wearing them.

Actually its the only designer where ive felt like its worth the extra money

Post yours, im especially interested in your blazers and im looking for one at the moment :)

:eek::eek: you purchased the whole store?

if their cotton feels like silk what does their baby cashmere feel like?

which other brands have you tried? i think LP is much better than BC but I know a lot of people think the opposite

imo LP is the best clothing you can buy, except for maybe blazers/ jackets

I also have many BC,In terms of fabric, LP is superior than BC,But the design of BC is much more better. I will choose BC in spring and summer

I cannot wear the best quality garment(s) I own. Between fifteen and twenty years ago, the late Kenneth Jennings made for me eight two-piece suits, a midnight blue tuxedo, many odd jackets and trousers. He did much of the tailoring by hand, including the buttonholes. All were done to my specifications using fabrics selected by me, mostly from Holland & Sherry or Dormeuil. Their fit was impeccable.

Every garment now hangs in a storage unit near my home. It's not an exaggeration to say some are minor works of art. I can't bear to part with them but I cannot, and probably never will, wear them again for the simple reason that they were made for a man 15 pounds lighter than I am today. You can't turn back the clock, lads. Much as you might want to, you can't turn back the clock.

I have a fair number of Kiton odd jackets and suits. Many in cashmere, but it is a cashmere woven like a worsted wool. They are nice, but the Blanc Blu or 180s wool is the true top of their line. Both the odd and suit jackets wear more like a sweater than a structured jacket due to their shoulder construction. But I certainly can understand mistahlee's problem. I am on a constant fight to keep my weight within the outer bounds of my tailors ability to let out the trousers of these suits.
