Hi!

Brown checked blazer is Natalino?
If yes, how’s it compared to S&M in terms of quality and sizing?

Thanks
Yes, the windowpane jacket is from Natalino. Quality, I think rather similar. I cannot and will not discern "quality"; I'll leave that up to the more technically inclined. For me, it strikes most the stylstic/aesthetic chords at the right price.

Sizing is a bit different though, I may not be the best one to lend advice. I'm generally 46R in S&M, but recently (2020) I've lost a decent amount of weight (+/- 20lbs). However, I've continued to wear 46R in S&M as I think my shoulders/chest have dictated that, though I probably could get away with a 44R.

Natalino only goes up to 54R, but the sizing chart seemed to be closer to what S&M deems 46R. Some of the specs trended slimmer, so I decided to take a gamble. It certainly is a *bit* more snug than my S&M jackets, which was expected though not by much. @mossrockss wrote a thorough piece over on his site. He sheds a lot more light on these topics and more.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
