Hey so I need some help D:! My hair used to look pretty much awesome all the time (well most of the time I guess). But nowadays it's very hard to manage and it kind of tries to curl up and look lame. I always have to push the bangs down and I can't even bend over to pick something up without it looking completely ridiculous afterwards. It started doing that a few months ago when I started actually using shampoo lol :p. So now I try and shampoo maybe like once a week and about 3 days after washing it, it starts to somewhat go back to normal...here's what I'm going for... So when I shampoo it gets all frizzy and weird and uncomfortable...but if I just rinse with water it starts going back to normal but for some reason it never goes all the way back to awesome mode. I'm a metalhead so my bangs are very important to me

my mom thinks I should go with short hair but she's old and doesn't understand kids these days so it's not an option for me

A bigger problem is what are you going to do with your username if you get your cool hair back?

I do use conditioner, it helps only slightly...I've tried 3 kinds of shampoo and conditioner and I'm using a 2 in 1 thingy right now which does the same thing...datasupa I'm glad I wasn't sipping my coffee when I read that o.o

Do either of your parents have curly hair? If so, genetics may have taken control of things. If this is the case, you are looking at a lifetime of hair straightening products... Or, you can make lemonade and model yourself after Felix Pappalardi!

To me, that is short hair. That goes 2X if you are a metalhead. I thought you guys were hardcore.

Are you using any product(aside from shampoo/condish)?

It sounds like you are using a pretty ****** shampoo. Throw the 2 in 1 away and get some decent shampoo and conditioner, and try out "garnier surf hair" to get that 4 days after a shampoo feeling.

Washing your hair strips away the natural oils and can make it frizzy and dry, which sounds like what you're describing.

You can minimize this by not washing your hair every day, using better shampoo/conditioner when you do (ditch the 2-in-1 crap) and find some product that works for you and apply it after you wash your hair while it's still damp.
