I hope I got the sizing right for the shorts. It's hard to be sure with the elastic waist measurement.

I'm xs in most brands but s in JE and I picked xs for the field shorts drop today.

I'm a ~29-30 in denim as well and have been hesitating re: the shorts for sizing reasons as well. Would be good to hear your feedback!

If you're a 29 in denim, I'd think a size small in the Vintage Field Shorts would be your size. That's assuming a number of things. Generally a size 29 in denim isn't a true 29 inch waist (if you measure it). Most jeans are vanity sized so it's going to be closer to a 30-31 on the actual waist size.

When you wear standard sizes (XS, S, M, etc) do you normally go with a size XS? Most of our customers size the same in our shorts as they do in JE shorts.

You know what I just checked. It's half xs and half s. I think I screwed up.

Yeah as a between size guy i am a little nervous too. Went L on T's got one artist and one vintage. Grabbed vintage field shorts in a M. Will report back when they come in with some fit pics. I am 6 foot 185lbs for reference my natural waist measures at 33 inches my jeans are typically a 32. Only thing i have to reference is my EE shorts are all size L and are flowy and have room. I have some Lost Files shorts in a M that fit fine as well
