Ah, that makes me feel better then. Kind of confused on how three silk swatches could weigh two pounds, but who knows -- maybe there was a lot of important bubble wrapping I'm forgetting.
I believe they basically choose the highest one. Either physical or dimensional weight.

That is correct. Dimensional weight can be higher than actual weight

Mohair mocklinon(50% mohair hopsack) seems perfect for blazer suits. My spouse had one made up, it's softer and more casual, I highly recommend giving it a look.

I saw this book today. The 10oz hopsack looks terrific. Only three colors, but very useful ones. Looks like it would play well in the mid/lightweight Fresco sandbox. Travel suit (or all-day charcoal suit for cool days and stuffy rooms)?

Coudl you let me know which book are you referring to? I went back some pages but could not find the original post. (and I did also searched Isolaion's post). Thanks.

Looks like Dugdale. When someone quotes a post, there should be a green arrow up top, just right of the name. Clicking that will take you to the post.

The Mocklino hopsack is made by Halstead. Same quality and weave. I am not sure if it's OK for pants though I might try one sometime.

The Halstead ones are lighter, at least those you can get through Pepperlee. The heavier stuff they do for Dugdale is more interesting. I will have a suit made up and will report how it turns out.
