re: Dudgale Lisburn Black Linen. I got my suit and I am liking it a lot. My takeaways. 1. if you hesitate like me on a black suit, linen is a great choice as it takes off the edge that wool may have, 2. DL is better than WB, as the latter is very refined, possibly taking a bit away from the casual aspect of linen. DL is still Irish, so I don't foresee the softness of Italian linen, even the heavier ones.
Would appreciate a pic if you are comfortable posting. I am still considering one.

It’s only the Liverano RTW that’s that expensive. I don’t think anything else they offer for a S.C. are even close to that. I could also be wrong

I don't know how much hand work is involved, but I think that the garment is made up to the highest standard, therefore the price seems justified. By the way, that's also the range of Cesare Attolini.

Yeah not arguing was just pointing out that the Liverano garment probably isn’t a good representation of the Armourys pricing

Hi all, does anyone have any information on
Dugdale New Fine Worsted PEERLESS?
I have searched but could not find anything online (attached below from my tailor)
- i wanted to know if it would be suitable cloth for a pair of trousers for the jacket pairings - it seems pretty good stuff, good handle, breathable and 300gm
If anyone has info on it, please do share.

The Ring Jacket (mostly machine-made) sport coats are mostly in the 1.5k-2k range, unless in expensive fabrics like silk or cashmere, but they also have the 101/103 models made by St Andrews that hover around the 3k mark.

Does anyone have pictures of “well wrinkled/rumpled” Irish linen tailoring? Feels like all the pictures I can find are taken within 5 minutes of putting the suit on.
I am not a fan of the heavily rumpled look, which is why I prefer linen/cotton blends to pure linen. To others it may be a compromise but to me it’s usually the best of both worlds.

Has anyone ever had anything made from a mohair cashmere fabric? I just bought some and was wondering how the performance is like.

Hi there;

I am a direct Mandate to a genuinely renowned Investment Finance Company offering Cash & Asset Backed Financial Instruments on Lease and Sale at the best rates and with the most feasible procedures.

Instruments offered can be put in all forms of trade and can be monetized or discounted for direct funding.

All Cash & Assets Backed from top UK banks (HSBC & Barclays Bank London Only).

With Sincere Regards,

MR Jogesh Chandra Jerath

Hello Mr Jogesh, I have a large inventory of premium English-made woollen textiles that I would like to monetise; I am tired of them being Unfunded Liabilities and would like to really put them to work for me. Are you amenable to a bond issue backed by these assets? Given that they are made from a renewable, natural material rather than petrochemicals, would we be eligible for a Green Bond issuance? or perhaps a Non-Fungible Token backed by 1 square metre of cloth, traded on OpenSea? The opportunities are endless! I am sure you will have no end of suggestions from the rest of the esteemed membership here!

I know the Fox book is a tad lighter, but is it also less formal? The Fox Worsted Classics is one of the 4 books I was considering for a classic navy suit alongside Botany, Finmeresco, and SuperBio.
Get samples first. Saw the book IRL this morning, and it is a bit fuzzier than the Fine Classics and Botany.

Dear @Crispyj,

Very nice finds, as always!

Concerning the EZ twill woollen one, is this its true color, or is it depicted lighter than IRL due to photography circumstances?

More to that, do you find it similar, weight/hand/texture-wise to the one of your mid-grey EZ worsted flannel suit?

Best,

Dimitris

Hi Dimitris,

This is worsted. Color is standard somber navy, not as dark as midnight navy.

The weight is around 330g, hand is very nice with a brilliant sheen. I do not have a EZ worsted flannel suit. Both are solid choices.

I did see an old light grey flannel, worsted. Probably from 1950s. Felt like steel core compared to today's flannel.
