A number of guys have asked for a dark grey 0126 Rangoon as well so I’m going to post it here to see if we can get a small run in along with the dark navy (which has met MOQ) and ship them both out ETA mid August. Please PM if interested. Will send orders to the mill by the end of this week. Thanks.

For reference, the grey below the proposed 0126 is Oxford grey. 0126 is a dark grey with mottling.

Some used to say that it was the same as Lesser, but I think it is maybe 1 ounce heavier and/or just a little sturdier. Same general bracket, though, and I haven't had any experience with the post-Harrisons-merger Lesser tropical.

Anyone joining the LL Alden Gunclub 10 subscription? It looks pretty nice, but I suspect if I went looking I'd find a similar pattern in an existing book for much lower cost. (Maybe one of the Harrisons family tweeds.)

You could go to Lovat Mill and look in their Ettrick book and get something about that weight. This particular LL run is finished more softly, though, and should behave more like an old-school Harris.

At Harrisons, Porter & Harding Hartwist plays in that general sandbox and has some nice checks.

21 ounces and a soft finish. I doubt there is much out there like it. This cloth would make a killer balmacaan coat.
