Trousers: Avoiding Crotch "Vag*na" (For Lack of a Better Term)?

Hi all, looking for some advice in terms of trousers... it seems a bunch of the bespoke pairs that I get made end up having the following problem in the crotch (so sorry, ignore the dirty mirror, it looks perfectly fine other than in pictures!):

Looks fine normally:

But spread the legs slightly and you get this unsightly... for lack of a better word... "vag*na" looking thing:

This is instead of a "V" like the crotch should have. Is this just a matter of excess fabric? Or is the rise too low here? And what's the best way to fix this on an existing pair? Help! Thanks very much.

You need higher rise pants so you can wear them "lower" (more fabric below your hips) and not have them ride up so high on your butt

Well clearly too much fabric somewhere; exactly where to take in, by how much etc. would be hard to judge based on the quality of your photos. If you paid top dollar to a tailor, then I would point out the issue and let the professional worry about solutioning. If these were passed on, or gifted to you, or you got some kind of a bargain on them, then I would say the number of people that would notice that little patch on your body, when your posture is in a certain place, is vanishingly non-existent
