Thoughts on this sports coat pants color combo?

Need expert advice on the colors.

Thank you. Yeah navy pants is my go-to for grey but would like another color combo to go with it.

Try brown. Or for a very casual look you could go with jeans.

Also, shirt and trousers give off a summer linen/light cotton vibe while the sportcoat looks like flannel.

Color-wise I think it works; these kind of lightly-colored tonal outfits are a bit trickier than the classic grey trousers, navy jacket. They work best during sunny days. There's a risk the colors makes you look washed out - I find it helps to wear either some dark-framed glasses (sunglasses work), or a scarf with medium contrast, to frame my face.

I like it, although generally, I would go for darker pants here, as someone mentioned above. Navy, as the first choice, but also brown or olive green, why not?
