I see IronMan 2 like Transformers 2, just there to make some good actions scenes and bigger explosions. It was entertaining but not that great of a movie.



Also forgot, the end credits sets-up the Capt. America movie or it ties it in because remember that Red Skull uses the cosmic cube and he has a pic holding it for the movie.

Really? I thought the action sequences were pretty good. Plus having War Machine and Whiplash and a new Mach suit were a good addition. And Rockwell was a great Justin Hammer. Scarlett and Potts being eye candy wasn't that bad either.

Leaving in an hour to see Thor. Honestly, getting excited to see it. Maybe because it's been months since I've been in a theater.

Funny, b/c the last time (and only) time I met the older brother he was still rocking out to punk rock and trying to find a way to make a living as a writer.

Turns out a local boy did good.

Yeah, it sucked. Scarlett was horrible as Black Widow, which should bode well for the Black Widow movie. Even Downey wasn't nearly as good as in the first movie. I suspect that had more to do with the ****** script than anything else. Rockwell is always good.

Now that the trailer is out and you've seen some of the footage, just how graphic will Conan the Barbarian be? Co-writer Sean Hood talked about it on Wednesday:

As a screenwriter on Conan The Barbarian, I get asked this question a lot.

The world of Hyboria, as Robert E. Howard described it, is fleshy and brutal. Bloody beheadings and bare-chested slave girls abound. However, while the movie is unflinching in its depiction of barbarism, slavery and warfare, the violence and nudity emerge from the fabric of the story. It isn't gratuitous.

Robert E. Howard's stories, although violent and perverse for their time, were not intrusively graphic either. So this is ultimately a movie about the character Conan, a character that will hopefully launch a healthy franchise of movies with stories and characters that celebrate Howard's work. Yes, you'll see blood and boobs, but this isn't a Cinemax movie; it's epic action/fantasy.

And yes, it's rated R.

Saw Thor last night. I thought it was awesome, along the same level as the original Iron Man.



The fanboys in the theater went nuts when Clint Barton showed up. Small gun? no. Big gun? no. Bow? yesplz.
