God damn, UPS is by far the worst parcel carrier.

**** their My Choice thing. $5 to deliver to a UPS store around the corner from my house? And then after I do it, you tell me that it won't be at the UPS store until Monday despite the fact that the driver was at my house an hour ago? It literally will take them longer to get it from my doorstep to the UPS Store than it took them to get the package here from Wyoming.

Fedex will redirect a package to the store for free and its not a pain to arrange.

**** UPS. I can't cancel the UPS Store delivery online (to get them to just hold it at the warehouse which will at least have it before Monday).

The first woman I talk to says that I need tech support since I can't get it to change on the website.
She transfers me to tech support who says that the website only lets you make one change per day but that the Tracking people can change it over the phone.
He transfers me back to the trackign people (in india this time) where she tells me that they cannot change a shipment if I changed it online (what kind of BS is that? usually when something is broken, it is the phone people who can fix it) and that I need tech support but the tech support person was just trying to avoid having to deal with the call.
So back to tech support...this time the guy looks at my tracking number and says it is still processing which can take 90 minutes and then I will be able to change it...

I sent @UPS a nasty tweet about why $5 just buys me an extra 3 days of delivery on a service that Fedex provides for free.
They responded a couple of minutes later from the @UPSHelp account with "We can follow up. Email our team the details at [email protected]. ^LK @UPSHelp"
To which I responded "Can you offer your service for free? Because that's what @FedEx does."...

Yeah, the UPS Choice thing is maddening.

If you PM me your twitter handle I'll bump your tweets. I've actually had a fair amount of luck using twitter to shame companies into providing more responsive customer service than I suspect they otherwise would.

I'll decide if my tweet needs bumping depending on how long I have to wait in line at the UPS warehouse...

Every time I see someone referred to just by the last name Graham, I assume the person's first name is Moonlight. I do this even though I am wrong 99.9% of the time. (There's a story about Jimmy Graham on espn.)

Blew out a tire on the highway on the way home from bumfuck east texas. Wearing a suit (thankfully not one of my nicer ones) get out the spare, the spare goes flat in like 500 feet. 8 miles from next town. Call tow truck, wait, wait, wait, until it's almost 3 hours and all the tire places are closed and I'm thinking I'm going to end up having to stay in some motel in east texas and go to my morning appointments without a change of clothes.

Then randomly a guy drives by and he owns a tire shop in the next little town. And his cousin owns a tow truck. So they tow me, open up their shop (it's around 10:00 by this point) and put the tire on for me. Won't even take my money as I try to insist. So there's a happy ending.

Weekend rush hour traffic. 34°C. 80+% humidity. Aircon blown for the 2nd time in 3 weeks. I'm going to tell those nitwits at the repairshop where they can stick it...

What's the most polite way of telling someone you don't find them attractive enough to ******** with?

"Let's go down to the redneck bar and see if we can get you raped."

OMG, I am not sure that Comcast could have intentionally designed a worse customer service experience.
