Noooooooo! :(

Totally beta; announcing an end to touring at the end of this year's current tour. Nobody punched the guitar player on stage in the middle of a guitar solo, ending the tour and whole band. That's alpha.

A buddy and I were looking forward to going to see Jane's Addiction later this week. 😔

Coincidentally, neither I nor any of my buddies ever had any plans to see REO Speedwagon, all coiled up and hissing.

I've got no REO Speedwagon jokes or puns but I did always love this scene in Billy Madison when he pulls up to school listening to Billy Squier and rocking a REO Speedwagon shirt.

At least Buffalo Springfield was named after a steam roller. REO Speedwagon is named after an Oldsmobile.

REO and Oldsmobile were made by completely different companies, both of them founded by Ransom Eli Olds. The REO Speedwagon was a pretty cool early pickup truck.

There is a house a few doors down from me that I've never seen anybody outside who actually lives there. Early every morning I see a nurse show up and then there is usually a shift change in the late afternoon or early evening. Just got back from a walk and was stopped by a guy who appeared to be in good health and maybe his late 50s who was standing in the front yard of the house in question who asked me about the train schedule and whether I was waiting for somebody to arrive as well. That's when the nurse came out to help him back towards the house.

Dementia and Alzheimers are terrible things, especially in such seemingly young people. 😥

I'm getting close to the age my Mom was when she was diagnosed with dementia. Every time I have a senior moment I get a little jolt of fear.

I have this thing when I go to various offices I subconsciously and very deliberately pull out the key for a different office.
I also drop stuff all the time and I KNOW that one is bad...

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
