I have been offered resignation en lieu of termination. I'm like WTF? are you serious? Also, its been next to impossible to speak with anyone regarding this matter given the time of year.

I see no choice but to really take the offer to resign, and then proceed from there; because, I don't need a termination from federal service on my employment record. Which the next step will be my congressman. It's absolutely ridiculous.
