I agree, they are not high horology, but, honestly, I don't care: as I said, I buy watches because of their looks and not because of their exclusive movements or multiple complications (mostly, totally useless). Weather they are overpriced, everyone has to judge for himself.

I'm definitely not a Rolex fanboy and I hate the rotten system they have created.
Btw, I like the Unimatic you posted.
I've come really close to picking one up. If they'd drop a ETA or Seliita in them, I would have already.
Great looking watch ( and Italian )

these two versions of you exist in separate places in my head but I like them both
Mature and evolved WBaker is my favourite WBaker ❤️

🧡 My earlier outfits were mostly copies of my favorite sf posters (I aped Synthese a ton). Even to the point of wearing 1:1 outfits from the best of waywrn albums.

Over time I got more confident in my own taste and the majority of my clothes became things I found on my own. Lately I've been having a ton of fun figuring out new outfits with my current wardrobe. ☺️

YSL Johnny boots (Hedi Slimane era)
Sidestepping relitigating the whole ‘blazer and jeans’ debate 😀 …
These jeans are the silhouette you should be aiming for and look very flattering.
Not crazy about square toed boots - they seem bit dated, and shiny black calf with semi beat up jeans looks a bit of a formality clash. Can’t help thinking something like dark brown or snuff suede Chelseas would have worked better. I admit this is all just subjectivity, probably just exposing my own biases!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
