Hehehe sterile office environs is my natural habitat. I miss sending my buddies snap chat videos of the depressing office coffee maker slowly filling my styrofoam cup during precovid times.

I dunno if I woulda been able to handle the excitement of that though. Plus have you got clothes to match it?

Thanks! Haven't been so stoked on something in a long while.

Casablanca is a bit hit or miss for me but this jacket just gets everything right. From their FW20 collection called 'Ski Club', it didn't show up in the runway for some reason but the corresponding women's coat does.

It's a heavy duty canvas with leather trim. Overall just super substantial and special feeling 🥰

Yeah it's super cool, pulls off the trick of being understated but dragging your eye to it and shouting "look at me!" at the same time.

Nice to see other people that still play vinyl.
Well I dj a bit and I do like playing with vinyl, my dj partner is switching more and more to playing off a stick - and it does make sense cos a) they are easier to mix with b) it's so much easier to transport, especially if you are going far or flying and c) it's easier to find new tunes, they cost less, and if you hear something on the radio or in a mix you can own it and play it that day...

So I should learn properly and be able to do it, at least as a back-up plan when required... but every day I'm about to roll up my sleeves and properly get stuck into learning... and then I look affectionately at these great piles of useless black plastic and once again I delay it until amanhã...

Are you also a slave to this terrible affli... er I mean to say, um, do you too delight in the simple pleasure that is definitely in no way an addiction of the occasional purchase of vinyl?

Come the stereo thread

Thread 'What stereo(s) do you listen to? What do you want?'
https://www.styleforum.net/threads/what-stereo-s-do-you-listen-to-what-do-you-want.56515/

Personally I'm far from being an audiophile or expert on music equipment - although I have had to learn certain basics over the years I guess - which people find strange in conjunction with the thousands and thousands of records sitting on those shelves... I guess I require a certain level that works, above that I care far more about seeking out the next killer dance-floor banger than I do about improving the audio experience of those I already own. It's not really a conscious decision and perhaps it makes me a Luddite, but it's just how I am and how I've always been...

I will definitely have a butchers at that thread though, thanks very much for the tip.

I feel like this how I've felt about clothing for a long time... "I require a certain level that works, above that I care far more about seeking out the next killer [thing]" and I feel like I stagnated and I'm trying to wear more fun stuff lately.
