One additional factor is that this forum is so torturous to use these days (on an iPhone) with the pop up ads, pages crashing, etc and god help you if you ‘pinch’ a photo to make it bigger.

Can’t count how many times I’ve been in the middle of constructing a post / reply and the page crashes mid post, losing my text. Often I just think ‘f*ck it’ and don’t bother retrying. If other people are doing the same that will contribute to the slower forum traffic.

You don’t want to go on a Caribbean cruise??

For some of us heads who have been around forever, you sort of need to talk less and less about clothes and fashion the more you know. At some point I just started seeing the matrix of fashion and until there's a massive leap in fabric technology everything is just a reference of everything prior and the history of contemporary fashion is extremely young. Similar to contemporary art and literature.

Not to say I'm less passionate about this stuff, I'm probably more so than ever, but I just have less and less to say now adays. But given it's enduring interest so far I'll always be interested in this stuff and hope to die looking like I didn't know a single thing about fashion.
