Hem of those pants is too wide for the boots, which is why i suggested 511s. I wear burgundy wool margiela pants but the only way I can make them work is with black / white.

sounds cool, thanks, KJ. i was reading some reviews on the 511s and it seems that people are saying they are mad skinny, which would be no good for me. they used to have a levis store about 10-12 minutes from me but it closed. now the closest one is about a half hour away. grrrr. i may just order a few cuts online and see whats best. thanks, again.

I don't think burgundy and light blue should ever be worn together. The navy wool version would of been more suited for you.

perhaps correct. either way i sent it back, and the valve jacket is where its at for me.

@in stitches here is @ManofKent wearing 511s if you are worried about them being to skinny:

I'm a fan of the cut personally.

510's are bordering on the skinny, but 511's are definitely more slim straights IMHO.

MoK - who will be back soon ;-)

Stitches' tailor can taper below the knee no problem $20. Don't think Levi's matches up to Zegna or MMM jeans.

yay MoK!

I second the endorsement of 511s as a good slim, but not too slim, option. they're also cheap and levi's has 30% sales every other day.

I like that SW&D fits for stitchy get the backyard setting, while MC still get the front. It feels like we get a bit something extra that nobody had seen until now

or is it that you want to take your pictures in the conceptual forest for us, and play the role of the patriarch when you don a suit?

Stitches fits are like a mullet.

Biznatch in da front.

Partay in da back.
