Could be improved w/nicer pants/boots but I'm pretty happy with this.

This is rad. Is the jacket waxed fabric?

if your pants went over your boot without the cuffs it'd be a much more solid fit but it looks like the hem might be too small

they're actually tightly pinrolled to sit on top of the boots. I felt it was more interesting to have the tapered pants stop at the top to exaggerate the big boot silhouette instead of simply having a tapered leg all the way down to the boot, which seemed more average/run-of-the-mill. do you think it just doesn't jive well with the rest of the fit?

I hope so, having to wear suits for my new job and the people over on the CM side of the forum weird me out.

Honestly, just like here, there's a strong element of groupthink i.e. there's a certain image people like and most of the stuff to the contrary doesn't go over well unless it's a) posted by a familiar person or affiliate (or italian actually haha) or b) really really ******* well executed. Sometimes both.

I do think that the groupthink over there is definitely on point for recommending tasteful outfits and has helped me a lot. I tend not to post fits there if I'm doing anything even slightly more crazy since it doesn't really go over well. An acute style is great for that stuff though. I really like some of his fits. Spoo's are amazing too.
