For the sake of my hological education does putting a different pair of hands put the mechanics off balance or is the motion independent of the hand design?

And @tifosi thanks yeah I think older watches has a certain charm that the recent incarnations has lost.

If you put hands on it that are 10x the weight or something, maybe. The weight does matter. It takes more torque to move them.

Yeah I had a feeling it wasn't straight forward as switching the hands out. I think I will leave designing to the experts. Its a shame less and less watchmakers use the Mercedes hands now its a nice classic design.

A staple in any watcher collector's arsenal. It can be a polarizing subject in regards to which model to own.

Staple so can't be Patek... I know we mentioned it already but Rolex or Omega is where I'll place my chips.
