Nice. I'll take the OQ and the GMT, thanks.

Btw R, not watch related, but I thought of you when I stumbled across this site (with some nerdy musings and insights on the typesets used and developed for some classic sci-fi movies, like 2001 and Blade Runner).

Tried on a couple of very different watches today.

Panerai Radiomir Mediterraneo GMT. Terrible photo, not helped by the harsh lighting in the boutique. It really does not do justice to the shimmering blue dial, which really is very pleasing. I tried it on previously with a navy suit and was surprised at how well it went with formal wear. If they had done it in the classic Rad design instead of the 1940, I could almost be tempted.

Then this, which I had seen posted here previously (by @Riva maybe?). The dial is beautiful and I very much like the fineness of the hands. The stark lugs didn't sit well with me though.

Lugs was the deal breaker and I wanted to get this watch to have at least 1 Breguet in my collection. Love the dial.

Since we’re back on the subject of watches, how about a group photo?

Sweet!
A man after my own heart. I think we conversed in the past about your white face Daytona. I eventually got one just before the prices rocketed up another few notches. I also have a sub, HAD a white Explorer which I flipped for a Platium YM, and I’m on the list for a new Pepsi. After that I’m done ... unless I happen across a VC Overseas!

Yeah, the jury's still out on the date window for me. At that price level, everything would have to be perfect and I'm not really feeling it with that watch.

I've sold all my fliegers due to the date window styling and location except for this:
