ok, I can stop being lazy, form US website..
Complete Service From $385 USD
Battery Service From $46 USD

sounds ok to me, though can someone tell me how often quartz really needs "complete" service. I don't care for the service every X year thing, but I do want to know when it is reasonable to do complete service (excluding the simple water tightness/battery change/if I want case polished thing). 10yr for quartz?

My friend’s was after 9 years. Quartz only need service if it stops working and the battery is fresh.

Agreed; when it comes to quartz, it either runs or it doesn't. Just take it for movement repair/replacement when it stops running and it's not the battery's fault.

Spring Drive and that other high-maintenance quartz movement from Piaget (700P) are about the only exceptions I can think of offhand.

There seems to be a lot of love/hate of this one, I really like it. I want to see it on the wrist first but I would love to own one myself.

True, i really do not like that one. (And i am a hugh JLC fan normally), was truly dissapointed then i saw them unveiled.

That is impeccable. As a Speedmaster owner, I can admit when I'm beaten!
Speedmasters are great! I am wearing one today;-)
Those UG Compax watches copied the early Daytonas, but the movement was a caliber UG 84-L1873 (Lemania) same as the Omega cal.861
