As Rolex models become more readily available at AD's, @Neville Southall is single-handedly ensuring the continued scarcity of Daytona's.

Precisely. I had the older model, the 116519LN. I hired Foo's dad to perform a full oysterflexoplasty on the straps. Even with his skilled work, the watch just never fit right. So, I asked my AD for a new one. They "fins" on the oysterflex fit better and the glidelock micro-adjustment system helps secure the perfect fit.
