I'm debating between whether I should get a 3 slot, or if I should get a 4 slot because it would be silly to buy a watch roll with just one extra slot simply because my current one only has 2 slots, or if I should just bite the bullet and get a full sized box because it would be silly to buy a watch roll with more than 3 slots. I have no idea which of the above options makes the most sense right now.

Just get a box. You can normally use the empty slots to hold other stuff.

Like @te0o, I went with the Bennet Winch three watch roll. Super nicely made and I love the alcantara. I tend to have one on the wrist and three on the roll so it works for my small rotation. It can even hold four in a pinch. I also have two winder slots so I'm often wearing one and two are on the winder. This is nice for me as when I'm traveling, I'll wear one and throw this roll in the safe making it easy to secure the whole lot.

If you want something really fancy and nice then spend some big bucks at Goyard and get a box with a crooked pattern.

If you want something simpler, just go to Amazon. Tons of options from under $50 and even a few over $100.

what's the big deal about original box and papers? i get it if you want to resell to ensure highest value getting your money back... but if you don't plan to sell, is it better for insurance purposes in case it's stolen?

Actually, you’d have to buy $25k of slow moving LV stuff before you can get access to the watch box 🤷‍♂️
