This is chef’s kiss tell-me-you-can’t-get-a-Rolex-allocation-without-telling-me nonsense…haha! Gtfoh!
This is the only one that I think fits me and maintains the classic proportions I love in the current lineup and I’m happy to own it

How nice! You bought a Rolex for your 8-year old. (Hairy little devil…)

“Hi! I only like 5-digit sports models, unless you have something current that’s even uglier than the sh*t I criticize on sf…”
That was the only 36mm OP they had to try it on to compare with 36mm Explorer and 40mm Explorer. I knew the sf would get on fire if I post it.

My turn to post some trash.
Was at a dinner with Panerai CEO and he previewed this LE for the Malaysian boutique for those who pre-ordered.

Loved the front and case/dial color combo, not so much the price LOL.
Case back engraving kinda cliché.

I thought you couldn’t stand the number design on the Explorer ?
Seriously thinking about that one. In 36mm of course.
I hate them! But I still wanted to see all 3 watches compared so I can once and for all close that chapter in my head. And hope to see Explorer with different numbers one day. Maybe for some anniversary or just to "redefine" it again one day. But I like the 36mm case more than 40. But the problem with new Explorer 36mm is that the bracelet is too slim. They slimmed it down and is now almost as slim as OP 31mm and the proportions case to bracelet are off. I don't know what they were thinking putting it on bracelet that slim but it makes no sense and it doesn't look good. However OP 36mm case to bracelet proportions are perfect. I did not take a photo of just the bracelets one next to other, so photos of my wrist should show the difference. So OP36 in black will be my under the radar watch so I can enjoy a slice of Spontini in peace when in Milan. But the sales person said they get less OPs than Daytonas so it will be some wait before I get it. They did not get a single OP 36mm in black in 2022. 🙃

Passed by this shop the other day where they had both OP and Explo.

Well I understand you but in my case only Rolex I had so far was an OP, and there are already a couple of DJ in the family, so I am considering the Explorer as I don’t hate the numbers (the mysteries of Personal Preference) and I really like this model. I was tempted by the Sub too, but the Explo is more daily imo. I will have a closer look at the bracelet size now though.

That’s the smallest adult wrist I’ve ever seen, assuming you are an adult.

Dude, I need this. I called my AD to inquire. He replied, “Another? Didn’t you just get the blue one in steel?”
I see them as two totally different watches. I don’t know about you.

You definitely need this one! It is completely different watch. But then I don't know what you will do with the steel version because you will never wear it again.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
