Oh, gee. The last three routes to Hilltop were blockaded. But not to worry, we have a map! If we look on the map and find a fourth route on marked roads we should be fine, because there's no way they could have a map, too. Only a super-genius Aspergers guy like Eugene is smart enough to read a map!

I liked the way that they showed the roadblocks progressively getting bigger, and the group's confidence (especially Rick, who got way too comfortable this season) kind of slowly go down, until they have a last glimmer of hope in Eugene. Then it all comes crashing down when they get caught and realized just how truly fucked they are.

That expedites the process, but I feel it would be more logical to send a solo/pair of scouts to get the dr and bring them back.

Instead they all decide to abandon ship when they all know they're going to be doing battle in short order.

They write this story in such an irksome way where half the time they're a Swiss watch and the other half they're all doing goofy things.

I don't disagree, but presumably the doctor would need his setup/equipment at Hilltop to do anything about it. But yeah, the fact that more than 3 or 4 of them (including Maggie) went out there was dumb.

Are you kidding? Variety is the spice of life and all that. He gets to hit the free agent market on a regular basis without ever having to deal with dose awkward breakup conversations.

Is the last statement based on the trailer generally (which I have not seen) or specifically the inclusion of Ezekiel and his kitty? (I have not read the comic but understand the latter to be a character from the comics.)

It seemed like back in the day they used to be very matter-of-fact when a major character died. I'm not watching the show anymore but from what I can tell by reading online it seems like they are making everyone angry with their stalling.

Watched 5-10 minutes then got so bored and irritated I gave up.
Have been watching FTWD this weekend on Amazon Prime (had only watched S1 E1 before). Enjoying it a bit more than I enjoyed the last couple seasons of the original. But the Chris character is pretty much the most annoying ***** who ever lived.
