Was about to pull the trigger on an Orslow denim but the photos of the fit didn’t convince me.

What would you say is the issue with the fit exactly? I have been craving for black denim trousers but Rubato’s rise seems a bit low for my taste.
orslow quality is amazing. clears my drakes denim hands down. the problem is the seat for me. They have noticeable less space in the thigh. While the straight leg and opening is comparable. The drakes denim is far roomier in the top block. Drakes are also higher waisted, but not by much. Fit will probably depend more on body type. Im very stocky and chunky. So I may try to lose some weight before I offload the pair I have.

Perhaps a crazy recommendation, but someone on another form put me onto vintage Levi's 619 cut, in particular the orange tab Made in Canada version. I have several pairs now and the cut is very similar to Drake's—high rise, straight leg, suitable for casual or wearing with Drake's casual tailoring

Wool Raglan 38
Boucle Fleece vest M
orslow regular fatigues
Clark’s DB

Would love to try the raglan in a size 40 and see how the fit compares.

Have a nice day folks :)
How many inside pockets does it have? Also big pockets for a newspaper on one side for example?I've been really thinking about the wool raglan in navy with ticket pocket...

So today I received my Mr Porter order:

I like the cut and the overall look of the fatigue jacket. The body could be a tad longer (i.e chore jacket length). I just wish the fabric was little heavier and personally I'm not the biggest fan of the apple crest.

What do you think?

length looks good to me? keep in mind this was a Spring/Summer jacket introduced earlier this year. it's not meant for this season, hence the lighter weight

I've returned a 42 navy raglan to SSENSE if anyone was looking for one in their sale, not sure how long it usually takes to reappear on the site.

I like this on you. I recall that is a cotton linen blend, so, even cooler than the duck canvas I picked up during this time of the year (YMMV depending on region). I was impartial to the embroidery, which is why I passed on it. Otherwise, it looks great and at home with the button down and denim. I too thought the chore coat should be longer, but am realizing that as much as I want to dress this jacket up, it's a casual outerwear. To that end, the length is fine IMO.

Hello all,

New here and hoping to get some thoughts on fit. I am also wondering how it relates to some of the fits in the look book. My pants in the pic are sitting a little lower than usual. Thank you.

It has two inside chest pockets, left one has a button. The flap pockets are very big, you can fit a folded newspaper without issues, I store my scarf all the time in there :) also the ticket pocket is deeper than you would think.

If you have the money, go for it.

Best,

Nacho

Looks fine to me. How does it feel on you? Yes you can size up, would you be fine taking it to get altered as needed?
Overalll, I like what the Games suite of offerings provide. The wider lapel sets it apart for one. No vent is fine and perhaps preferable. YMMV

It fits looser than my suit. What would you recommend getting altered? The sleeves? I work with a great tailor

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
