Keep in mind the 6-ply version with the garter knitted placket and collar (which for my money is the nicer version because of how dense and soft it is) is also cut unusually short. Worth sizing up one just to get the additional length, IMO.

Interesting, TBH I always assumed that line of sweaters was not as good as their long standing made in scotland stuff. Though I only can buy online so have never been able to compare them side by side. I agree though, that even their normal offerings are short. That said, I am also short so my TTS works well for me.

Regarding shetlands, is the current L size equivalent to the old 42 size shetlands? That's what the measurements suggest, but I wanted to be sure.

The 6-ply model certainly seems to be less popular than the made-in-Scotland version. I have one of each in different colors (ecru in 6-ply and black made-in-Scotland, respectively) and I like them both, but the 6-ply one feels way more luxe (at least to me). They're both casual, but the made-in-Scotland silhouette feels more like a big blanket, whereas the 6-ply one feels like something I'd actually want to wear out of the house over an OCBD, and I've found that its flatter, more structured collar helps it look good under roomier outerwear. Just my own experience.

Agree… It’s like the rest of the stock that was left in the cellar (except knitwear)..
Managed to grab the last 15.75 shirt remaining and hesitated to add the blue solid scarf but finally didn’t

Seems like a nice chance to get the shawl collar cardigan.
Can some one tell on the fit? I'm 5"11 and 176 lbs. Chest is around 42". I just lost 30 lbs, and my last sweater (46) from Drake's feels too large to assist on size comparison now. Thanks!
These are tagged by the actual garment chest measurement, and I think they look better slightly oversized. I take a 44 with my 40'' chest, while TTS would be a 42.

Happy shopping everyone!

So, they ship to Europe again, but at a 25 euro fee. No refunds. Hesitated a bit before pressing the pay now button, but in the end I did. Unfortunately no balmacaans, or other coats. Not a fan of the ones listed.

The no refund thing scares me a bit. I met someone from the forum who kindly let me try their Games blazers saying that sizing was weird with Drake’s. First time I order a blazer in 42, hopefully their sizing is still weird.

I’ve had the ecru heavy gauge roll neck on my watchlist for a while. It vanished from the main website a week or so ago which made me think it had sold out and so I wrote it off. Happily it has turned up in the Archive Sale and in my size, so I’ve picked it up.

The same thing happened with me but for the black roll neck.

For what it's worth, when I tried on tailoring at their UK store, I was TTS in their "tailored" line (40US/UK) but had to size down in their Games line (38US/UK).
