I don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but I stopped by the 5th ave store, and found several new style of their traditional OCBD oxford shirts - 4 different vertical striped ones (blue/white, gray/white, red/white, white/blue), . This one in particular looked best of them all.. so I copped
two pairs.
Has anyone been able to locate this shirt on the UK webstore?
It looks really great but I can't seem to find the same one on there :c

Edit: didn't see the above post

I saw the shirts yesterday in the Shanghai's flagship store but I only stopped by for a few minutes. I think they were 199 RMB (about $30) or there was a similar shirt for 99 RMB. I'll probably have a chance to go back today and check it out.

Pretty much all Uniqlo at this point, other than shoes and outterwear.

Just got my Uniqlo order in. Happy to say the sweaters and shirt I got fit perfectly. Really happy because the arms are the right length and most places make them too short. Time to stock up before I head back to the states.

I am stunned at how nice the basic long sleeve shirts are, I bought like 14 of them. Single need flat seams, interlining in the cuffs / collars, good fabric.

Would be a nice shirt @ 50 bucks each, pretty good for like 15 pounds.

Is it OCB cloth? I keep trying to order plain dress long sleeves shirts from sudden lee but they keep coming up as sold out. Can you link on uk site?

TBH Rugby University Oxford is better than any of the OCBD offerings Uniqlo currently has.

Cut is the same essentially. You are going to it get altered unless your proportions fit the shirt OTR, which I doubt from the SF demographic.
Wash and dry is also nicer where the material does not wrinkle and requires a long length of time to iron.
Weight and thickness is also the same if not better, refer to second point about the wrinkling.
Collar is also nicer with a larger overall length and width.

Razele knows his shirts, but stunned is quite an overstatement and 'lol' worthy.

Toasty Ive handled heaps of basic shirts like this man, for the price I couldnt really find anything better. Keep in mind Im in Australia, so its just different to the states. I bought my shirts in the U.K on my honeymoon. I bought like 4 white oxfords, 2 blue oxfords, 2 blue ginghams, 2 navy ginghams, 2 shadow plaids and 2 blue tattersal checks. The shirts have interlining instead of fusing in the collar / wrists as well, which is pretty damn nice IMO.

They are almost as nice as 200 dollar MTM shirts I used to have, for like 15% of the price, thats the stunning thing, lol.

Anyone have issues with Suddenlee recently? I placed an order last Wednesdays for the shorts special on Friday and have not heard back since. I sent a follow up email on Wednesday knowing they must have been swamped over the weekend but its the end of the week now...

the UU cropped chinos are gone from the site; does anyone know if they're still in stock?

Super slow for me on pretty much every order. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a business model they can't sustain.

they screwed up on an order for me and sent me the correct item the very next day ... just this week

i just reply emailed them from the email i received when they confirmed all my items for shipping. maybe i just got lucky or they saw that i had a legit issue so they responded to me

i know in the past that they have completely ignored my emails so not sure if they are screening or something

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
