What? Vass has whiskey? Since when?

Yes they do, I came to know about this in April and immediately ordered my first pair - U tip bal with norvegese. Should receive it 2-3 days (posted the pic few posts back)
On another note, thanks for pointing me to Vass in AE thread

I am fine with Antique Cognac Cordovan instead the requested whiskey for this shoe. Mr. Kuti just gave me an excuse to place an order for Whiskey Cheviot2 with C&J. Done this morning.


I like Bordeaux Cordovan medallion boot. Commisioned exactly to ordered spec.


But I can't decide if I want to accept Antique Cognac Cordovan instead the requested whiskey for these. Still thinking...

Antique Cognac cordovan is much more useful. If whiskey is a flashy California cab that wins Parker points, the Antik is like a decent Bordeaux that you can actually have with dinner-- sans hangover.

Received my first pair of Vass and it's perfect , even better than I expected it to be. Thankfully the fit is spot on, as I never tried Vass in person before.

U tip bal in cordovan was quite high on my want list and it's even better to have it in Whiskey along with Norvegese stitching. This shade of whiskey is pretty good and is on little darker side (and looks better to me)..
