Yes, I have a lot of students from US boarding schools (Exeter, PA, SPS, Hotchkiss, etc.). Every boarding school nowadays has a significant Korean contingent, although Chinese students have overtaken Koreans at many schools.
Good luck. Perhaps you'll teach your pupils that a useful skill in the modern era is being able to differentiate between spam and "authentic" communication. The post you responded to shows all the signs of having been posted by a spammer (zero posting history, non-responsive to the discussion, points people to a 3rd party site). But, perhaps you knew that and were just using it as a launching point for conversation, in which case, more power to you.
