I was thinking about having a vibram wedge sole put onto these boots. I'm not big on the current sole, and I think switching it up would make it go with more of my bottoms. has anyone ever done something like this? can it be done?

I've been really liking service type boots recently. I want to buy a pair but I can't decide. I'm down to these 3 but I'm open to suggestions as well. The Vibergx4HM service boot, PS Ricard, and the W+H Dayton Service Boots. I don't like that the W+H are pre-distressed. http://fourhorsemen.ca/shop/4-horsem...-service-boot/ http://www.ssense.com/men/product/pa...er_boots/29247 http://www.rodengray.com/shop/WH-x-D...variantid=1955 I'm leaning towards the Ricard. I'm not sure if I should go for a boot with a commando sole, like the KVA boots posted in the winter boot thread. It looks chunky but I think it could be good for traction. I have a pair of C and J Tetbury with the Dainite sole, something like that would be ideal.

I'm freaking in love with the 4 horsemen boots.
